"The story of Taqaqa Noura that made her quit art – you won’t believe what happened to her."

A Brief Overview of Taqaqa Noura's Early Life :

Noura Rabee Ismail, a Kuwaiti citizen born in 1950, was not the only artist in her family. Her mother had already made a significant name for herself in Kuwait. Noura completed all stages for her education and earned a degree in political science.

Noura's artistic journey began at a young age, as she often accompanied her mother to various traditional events and performances. After some time, Noura's mother retired from the art scene,
leaving her daughter to inherit the musical group she once led.

Noura became renowned for her vibrant performances with her band, gaining widespread fame across the Gulf countries. She was highly sought after, especially for weddings, where her presence was in great demand.

Noura's final performance took place in 1997, after which she retired following the most terrifying incident of her life.

                                                             The Hole story :

The story began when Noura received a phone call from a woman requesting her to perform at her daughter's wedding for fee of five hundred Kuwaiti dinars. Noura agreed, as the amount was reasonable for her.
She received the woman's address and headed there with her team to prepare for the event.

                                                          The day Of incident

Upon arriving, Noura and her group entered the changing room. Moments later, several women entered the room to greet them and welcome them.
However, something felt off. Noura and her team notice that the women's hands were unusually rough, almost as if they were covered in thorns. Even more unsettling was the cold draft that seemed to accompany their entrance. Despite their discomfort, Noura and her team continued to greet them woman as if everything was normal.

The party began at 10:00 pm . Initially, the atmosphere seemed ordinary, but in reality, it was quite strange. The groom looked as if he had stepped out of the Ottoman era, while the bride wore a black grown-an unusual and unsettling choice. The tables, instead of being adorned with traditional wedding fare , were laden with large platters resembling banquet meals.

Noura sang for a short while before deciding to take a break. She went upstairs to one of the rooms, where exhaustion quickly overtook her, and she fell asleep on the bed. In her dream, she saw a strange woman dressed in black, chasing her. She woke up terrified. As she left the room, she noticed a child climbing to the third floor. Driven by curiosity, she decided to follow him. Despite the eerie atmosphere, Noura trailed the child, hearing his laughter echo as he stopped in front of a door. The child entered, but when Noura tried to follow, she found the door locked.

Determined to return to the changing room, Noura suddenly felt a hand grab her leg, attempting to drag her into another room. She managed to escape and ran back to the changing room, where her bandmates were waiting. By then, Noura was certain this was no ordinary wedding but a gathering of Jinn. Despite her fear, she chose to continue the performance.
Noura tried to calm her group and convinced them to continue. Together, they returned to the stage and resumed their performance. As they played, women from the audience stepped onto the dance floor. It was then that Noura noticed something horrifying-The women's feet were not human but resembled goat hooves. The scene grew even more disturbing as the night wore on. The number of attendees swelled, and the noises they made became unbearably loud ad chaotic.

Noura and her band continued performing until the call to prayer at dawn. At that moment, The power suddenly went out, and all the crowd's noises vanished. Terrified, her bandmates panicked, but Noura urged them to seize the opportunity to escape.
They fled the venue, running as far as they could from the palace where the event had taken place.
On their way, they encountered an elderly man heading to the mosque for dawn prayers. He asked them why they were in such a place at such an hour. When they told him about the event, he shocked them by revealing that the palace had been abandoned for years and that no one dared go near  it due to the terrifying sounds that came from within.

Shaken by the ordeal, Noura decided to retire from performing entirely. She remained out of spotlight until her death in 2016.
